About Our Therapist

Nicole Mikulski, PT, DPT, OMPT, RYT-200

Nicole is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist, and certified 200-hour yoga teacher with over 13+ years of experience. Throughout her career she has obtained a fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (OMPT) and various certifications in functional movement assessment and corrective exercise, running injuries and return to sport, Titleist Performance Institute’s Golf program, deep core strength assessment and training, and most recently core and pelvic floor stabilization as it relates to women’s health. She will also be certified as a Prenatal and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist in 2025. She currently teaches yoga at Ohana Fitness and Wellness studio, as well as incorporating the breathwork and principles of yoga into all her practices.

Nicole has had a variety of pregnancy and birth experiences including 2 term pregnancies over the age of 35, one unmedicated natural birth, one case of infant shoulder dystocia, one breech pregnancy, one c section birth, and some unique issues with plagiocephaly in both children, which gave her a unique sense of the prenatal and postpartum world and inspired her desire to help other moms. She believes in the raw strength and power of women's bodies and strives to instill a sense of confidence in everyone she works with. She has gained a lot of wisdom through her own birth experiences and seeks to advocate for other moms and moms-to-be to achieve the healthiest births, postpartum recoveries, and early childhood years possible. Moreover, she desires to help all women address their orthopedic issues at the core and help them to live their best lives.

Nicole lives with her husband, two sweet babies, and one fur baby in Macomb, Michigan. She enjoys all forms of exercise and fitness as well as boating, hiking, enjoying live music, spending time with friends and family, and playing with her children.
